This post keeps you up to date with all changes to Noesis in April. The post will be updated when new features and fixes are released.

Rename demos (2019-04-29) ​

• Add filename of demo to demo overview
• Enable renaming of demos

Vertigo update (2019-04-26) ​

• Updated de_vertigo map after 4/25/2019 CS:GO release

Autoplay (2019-04-23) ​

• Added autoplay feature in 2D replay. Once a round ends, the next round is now automatically started
  • The default setting can be changed in the settings menu in the top left corner of the 2D replay
• (Fix) Fixed an issue where the default demo was broken

Positions overhaul (2019-04-17) ​

This update introduces a whole range of usability improvements to the CS:GO positions view. You can now interact and gain much more information on the movement patterns of your team and your opponent's.

• Positions overhaul
  • Add game clock
  • Add option to show round numbers on players
  • Click players to select all players from that round and show their names
  • Click multiple players to compare selected rounds
  • Navigate directly to 2D replay of a selected round
  • Filtering players will now only dim the other players; not remove them completely
• Reduced numbers of requests to fetch data, effectively decreasing load times significantly for people outside of Europe
• Reduced load times when data is cached
• Upload page shows demo count and limit
• Restyled loading screens
• (Fix) Rounds where a player disconnected will no longer break 2D replay

Major 2D replay rewrite (2019-04-11) ​

• Change data format for 2D replay from JSON to FlatBuffers. Check the post from when we changed the positions view
  • As for the other visualizations this reduces loading times for the 2D replay view significantly
  • Reduced memory and CPU usage
  • Improved overall performance
• Improved loading times across all visualizations
• (Fix) Replay would play very fast if you changed tab while a round was playing and returned after a while
• (Fix) Players would disappear when you inspected a frame in the strategy board and came back to the 2D replay
• (Fix) Swap icon for M4A1 and M4A4
• (Fix) MP5-SD was shown as MP7

The Mediocre Moose 2D replay video (2019-04-02) ​

• Added new help video for the 2D replay view created in collaboration with The Mediocre Moose

• Added de_vertigo map to Noesis

Endless spinner bug fix (2019-04-03) ​

• (Fix) Fixed an issue where when signing in the button would spin forever
